Dear summer,

As you have come to an end, I want to thank you for all the memories.

I will always hold onto the experiences you gave me over the past two months.

I am thankful for the long days and nights filled with spontaneous adventures.

I will look back on all those weekend getaways, from watching fireworks while sprawled out with friends on the lake dock to spending a day exploring the Butterfly Museum.

I am thankful for the day-long boat rides on Lake Travis and watching the colored Austin sunsets as they fade away into nights of endless dancing and laughter.

Cheers to getting ready for nights out with my girls while blasting Kanye on the stereo, dancing on the balcony, and swirling down the hallway.

Tanning in 100° Texas heat while chatting with old friends and reading books on the hammock.

I will miss the late-night walks around the park with strangers who soon became friends.

From discovering hidden talents, learning to make waffles over FaceTime, and taking daring drives through downtown at midnight— you were good to me

I will forever remember the people I met, the songs I queued, and the pictures I took.

Most of all, I learned that you can never have enough fun, laughter, and excitement.

Until next time!

Sincerely,

Sarah Dupuis
