Everyone needs to take a break occasionally to help de-stress and decompress from all the hard work that makes up our daily lives. For the adventurers at heart, this means going on vacation. Packing and getting to your destination can be overwhelming though. To make traveling easy-breezy, take this advice for next time you travel!

First, make a checklist—you’ll thank yourself later. It can be on paper, your phone, or even a sent text!

1) Pack light

Try using packing cubes to stay organized. To save space, roll up your clothes to make sure that you don’t let any space go to waste. Another way to be resourceful is to pack socks into a pair of shoes. Also, keep in mind to save a spot for souvenirs!

2) Check the weather

Pack clothes to dress accordingly! Whether it’s a hot day in Miami or a winter wonderland in Italy, be sure to always be prepared and plan outfits ahead of time.

3) Get to the airport early

Nothing beats arriving early for check-in. You never know when something unexpected can arise, so get prepped in advance.

4) Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize

An airplane ride can leave your skin seriously dehydrated so make sure you moisturize your skin before takeoff and before landing.

5) Get comfy & cute

Be sure not to wear anything too restricting and above all, wear what’s going to be most comfortable on your flight. It is, after all, the start to a relaxing vacation.

6) Entertainment is essential

The night before your flight, download your favorite show, movie, book or audiobook to stay entertained on your flight— don’t forget your portable charger!

7) Snacks for the win

Airplane snacks can get quite pricey—why not save that money for your destination? Pack a Tupperware filled with your favorite snack and enjoy your munchies without having to hurt your wallet!

Safe travels! Remember that a vacation doesn’t have to be in the summer—it can be whenever you feel you need it the most.
