Entering the fashion world can be downright confusing at times, not to mention all the types of patterns, colors, and textures that can contribute to the overwhelm. No worries! This is our ~ultimate~ guide to help you master color coordination.

Fashion Foundations

White, Black & Cream

These colors are the foundation for a classic, sleek look. Style them together for a professional-meets-timeless vibe, or layer with pops of vibrant shades. The good news? These colors go with anything and everything.

Try:

A Head-to-Toe Black & White look or a Mix-Match Black & Cream or Black & White

Harmonious Hues

Olive, Navy Blue & Grey

These hues are the second must-haves and are essential to your wardrobe. Incorporate harmonious hues with foundational colors for a look that will turn heads.

Try:

Cream & Navy Blue, White & Olive, or Black & Grey

A Flush of Color

Green, Red, Blue, Yellow & Pink

These colors can elevate an outfit by subtly creating a pop of color or be worked around with all the colors previously mentioned.

Try:

Cream & Green or Black/White & Red

Black/White & Blue or Black/White & Yellow

A Lighter Tone

 Pastels

A darling summer favorite that can still be pulled off in the cooler winter months. Lighter tones look stunning with harmonious hues but can also be experimented with different textures (denim, anyone?).

Try:

Olive & pastel purple, Cream & pastel pink, or White & pastel yellow

A Bright Tint

Neon

No need to shy away from neon! You can go all out in a complete neon outfit with the foundational colors or use structured items for bonus style points, like combat boots or a studded leather jacket. On the other hand, you can also wear neon for a pop of color. The choice is totally yours.

Try:

Black/White & Neon or The All-Neon Look

Keep playing around with colors until it becomes second nature.  Putting together outfits takes some practice but take advantage and have fun while you learn.
