Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert: This memoir chronicles a woman’s trip around the world after her divorce and what she discovers during her travels. Daring to step out of her comfort zone, Liz embarks on a quest of self-revelation and unravels the glee of nourishment from Italian cuisine, the power of belief and prayer in India, and the bliss of true love in Bali. Staying at home has become the epitome of 2020, so allow this narrative to take your soul to cities you have never been. Side note: Julia Roberts perfectly embodies our inner feminist in the 2010 award-winning film.

Elizabeth Gilbert will surely win a place in your heart with this comical guide to artistic spirit. It tells you all about ideas: starting with how magical they are, to how they float around the world looking for you. She writes, “Do whatever brings you to life.
