If you're anything like us, finding the best places to thrift that isn’t Goodwill in a new city is a priority. Moving to College Station and finding good thrifts can seem to be a big challenge at first thought. In reality, College Station has plenty of hidden gems if you're willing to put in the effort to find them. Lucky for you, we compiled the best of the best College Station has to offer that are definitely worth taking a look. We highly recommend each of these stores and hope you love them as much as we do.
If you're looking for the newest addition to your vintage collection, we recommend Vintage Circle. This thrift stop is located on Texas Avenue and is open everyday (except Monday) from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. You can find a wide variety of vintage Harley Davidson, Nike, and band t-shirts. The staff at Vintage Circle is always welcoming and excited to give background on their pieces.
For something more upscale, check out Alice’s Attic. This shop is known for their hidden gems including perfectly distressed Levi’s jeans. What makes this store even more special is their wide assortment of vintage jeans and leather jackets. This store offers both fashion and home decor additions. From one of a kind dishware, to good books for a bargain, this attic has it all.
While you're in downtown Bryan, head across the street to St. Vincent de Paul. They’re open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. This store not only offers both clothing and home decor, but their jewelry selection is some of the best in the area. From gold hoops to diamond necklaces, St. Vincent offers beautiful jewelry for amazing prices. Furthermore, make sure to check out their Texas A&M merchandise selection for great prices on your next game day outfit.
Looking for statement pieces to hang in your living room? Check out Attic Antiques for the coolest vintage pieces to add to your home decor. As per tradition in antique stores, they offer a wide variety of trinkets that can only be found in these unique spots. Look out for their store dog who is ~always~ deserving of pets and greet the sweetest owners who without a doubt make the trip worth it. They’re open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday.
Last but not least, Hagglers is a must on a thrifting day. This thrift will take you out of the concrete buildings of downtown and into the fields. Don’t worry, you didn’t take a wrong turn – it really is on a dirt road – making the experience all the more more unique. Hagglers offers a mix of everything you could ask for: shoes, home decor, jewelry, and so much more. Their hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
