The Rebirth in a Rebrand

If you’ve fallen down the self-care rabbit hole this new year, you may have stumbled upon the most aesthetically pleasing TikTok videos and Pinterest boards on how to “rebrand” yourself. 

Textbook definition: Rebranding is the process of changing the corporate image of an organization. Although awe-inspiring rebrands from companies like Abercrombie are noteworthy (see: How Abercrombie & Fitch Became Cool Again), we’re shifting the perspective from the business savvy side of things to what it means to truly rebrand yourself. 

The fact is we all change over time. Our passions and our goals change. We are constantly experiencing the trials and tribulations of life that keeps us stirred in the melting pot that is young adulthood. So here’s the spiel: rebranding yourself doesn’t necessarily mean getting a new hair-do or buying a whole new wardrobe (but don’t pause on our account), it means focusing on the areas that position you to be the best you can be for yourself. In other words, you don’t have to entirely abandon your whole personality; rather reconfigure it to thrive in a new light. 

Organization at its finest

Whether you are a full-time student, successfully undergoing your career or tapping into your most creative endeavor yet, the key is organization. Rebranding yourself on the inside is equally -  if not more - important than your rebrand on the outside. Wellness is the mantra for 2022. We’re emphasizing everything from skincare to book recommendations, delicious recipes, and everything in between that is worth investing your energy in. The latest hot take in the beauty realm are eye-patches and ice face rollers

Finding your Muse

If there is one thing that the rebranding process teaches, it’s reflection. Looking back on our old passions and figuring out why it interested us in the first place serves as a catalyst for your next big move. By discovering and pursuing new passions even on the smallest scale, you allow yourself to go deeper into something new.

While we’re always supportive of rebrand, let this be a reminder that you are a person, not a product. You don’t have to entirely change your lifestyle overnight. Introducing small, manageable changes will improve the quality of your rebrand.
