Amp Up Your Wardrobe: Quarantine Edition

So…it’s been a minute since our social distancing lifestyles have commenced. Sure, it has taken some getting used to, but we all know the importance of doing our part in helping slow the spread of COVID-19. Maybe we’re not able to go grab brunch with the girls, study at our favorite coffee shops, or travel to our summer destinations, but there is one thing we can do: better ourselves. Now is the time to pick up new hobbies, work on your makeup skills, and amp up your wardrobe! Closet cleaning can be super therapeutic, and with so much time to spare, why not get rid of the abandoned clothes in your closet and add some new pieces to your collection?

Since we’re all working and playing at home right now, it is beyond tempting to just stay in your sweats all day, everyday. Although this can be nice for a little while, it starts to get old. Starting off your morning by putting a little more effort into your look will change your mood drastically. Let’s explore some styling ideas that will combine your desire to be comfortable at home and still feel put together.

Overalls are the perfect summer attire for your newfound, social distancing lifestyle. Because they are baggy enough to be comfortable, yet secure enough to play around in, they are ideal when going to a picnic, the park, or dog walking! Any top will suffice with these overalls. A t-shirt, crop top, bodysuit, whatever you’d like. When choosing a neutral colored top to go underneath your overalls, try spicing up your look with a colorful accessory. A necklace, headband, scarf, or colorful shoes will tie it all together.
